19 young men of diverse backgrounds from broad strata of society hijacked four airplanes and crashed three of them into American buildings, killing three thousand people, utterly destroying three World Trade Center buildings (the twin towers and WTC7).
What motivated these men remains an utter mystery, because to suggest that there was some kind of religious connection would threaten to start a religious war, and we can’t have any of that can we?
